How do I become a member of the BCA?

Who Are BCA Members?
Individuals who support diversity, inclusion, scholarship, sportsmanship, and equitable opportunity for advancement and participation at all levels of sports and athletics.  Head and Assistant Coaches, Administrators, Students, Graduate Assistants, Sports Industry Professionals, Fans, Athletes, Organizations, and Corporations.   Coaches and administrators come from high school, junior college, intercollegiate, and professional levels.

Membership Quick Facts:

  • BCA members represent 44 states from all levels from amateur, collegiate, and professional ranks of various sports including coaching and administration.
  • The BCA is made up of 65% male and 35% Female.
  • Approximately 20% are affiliated with men's basketball.
  • Over half are employed by NCAA Division I institutions.
  • Over 20% are head coaches who control their own budgets.
  • Coaches rank in the top five of athletic role models.
